Ah, summer.
It’s long awaited arrival is here and all around, people are abuzz with excitement about all their summer plans.

For UAB Honors students, they are abuzz with excitement about what lies waiting for them this summer at the summer enrichment program at Glen Iris Elementary school in Birmingham.

These student teachers have been given an opportunity to fine tune their instructional strategies by jumping into a classroom of their very own and TEACHING!

Each student teacher will be featured here, on our blog, telling their story, in a series of posts called, “A Day in the Life of a UAB Student Teacher.”
